Abstract

Dr Iain MacDonald, PhD, Senior Lecturer Medical Imaging Sciences, University of Cumbria, UK and Jey Mahadevan, diagnostic radiographer, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, presented their findings from a project based on the experiences of recently graduated apprentices in radiography, at this conference. Dr MacDonald mentored and advised Jey throughout the project, drawing on his first-hand experience of educating apprentices on the award-winning radiography apprenticeship course at the University of Cumbria and extensive research experience in radiography education.
