Abstract

Dr Iain MacDonald, PhD, Senior Lecturer Medical Imaging Sciences, University of Cumbria, UK and Jey Mahadevan, diagnostic radiographer, Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, presented their findings from a project based on the experiences of recently graduated apprentices in radiography, at this conference for nursing, midwifery and allied health professionals, hosted by the Oxford Academic Health Partners (OAHP). Dr MacDonald mentored and advised Jey throughout the project, drawing on his first-hand experience of educating apprentices on the award-winning radiography apprenticeship course at the University of Cumbria and extensive research experience in radiography education.
