Abstract
The third conference speaker was Miss Ellie Evans also a Ph. D student at the University of Cumbria and is a digital Platform Assistant at the Ruskin, at Lancaster University. She has also worked at the Hawkshead Grammar School Museum with responsibility in maintaining its large astronomy collection of books and instrumentation. Using a wide range of modern techniques Ellie shared with the delegates her Ph. D research into the monitoring of the Cumbrian outdoor heritage sites mentioned within the talk title. This monitoring users drone photography, photogrammetry, and visitor route surveys. These sites all have astronomical and historical significance within Cumbria well known for its rich archaeoastronomy points of interest.
