Sustainability and the idea of environmental care have gained popularity, prompting businesses to use green supply chain opportunities. Yet, a lot of businesses have prioritised sustainability focusing primarily on their internal processes. By building internal green purchasing skills and embracing green purchasing practises for company sustainability, they have neglected the requirement to carefully examine the sustainability practises of their supply base. What green skills the firms need to have to execute green purchasing practises is one of the issues for most businesses. Based on recent research, results show that green manufacturing, integration, intra-organisational, and financial skills have a considerable positive impact on green purchasing practises. The study also showed that the performance of the firms’ triple bottom line is considerably impacted by green purchasing methods.
