Abstract

Communication is a core skill within leadership: it sits at the very core of influencing effectively. It is essential in building relationships and reaching goals. What may be less familiar is the concept that communication is not only with others, or externally focused, but also with self. Internal communication - how we drive and lead ourselves and influence the decisions we make - is also an important skill which appears to be less frequently discussed.
