Abstract
In this podcast series the University of Cumbria profiles its researchers, hearing in detail about their work and the impact this has on wider society. Dr Martin Fowler, Senior Lecturer Fine Art, Chad McCail, Fine Art Lecturer and former Senior Lecturer and university colleague of 16 years, Katy Little, all of the University of Cumbria, discuss how a pioneering approach to Fine Art pedagogy - grounded in Gramsci's 'know thyself' or 'inventory of traces' in which biography serves as structured agency - has been incorporated into under-graduate teaching methods at the University of Cumbria (podcast duration: 30 minutes).
