Abstract
This thesis uses an ethnographic methodology and writing as an assemblage to explore how to scaffold visual inquiry in the outdoors. The writing style is experimental and seeks to subvert expectations of how a traditional masters thesis would read, whilst maintaining a theoretical framework of peer reviewed sources.
