This catalogue, containing essays by Michael Kenny RA as well as Robert Williams, was published on the occasion of a touring exhibition organised by PROTEUS Artists’ Network International in association with Lancaster Litfest, 20 February to 2 April 1993. During the exhibition, entitled 'Flesh and Blood', works by over fifty artists were shown in the gallery and a variety of other venues across Lancaster, including shop windows.
