Abstract
A satiric take on the creation of the so-called 'Forth Green Freeport' on the Firth of Forth, Edinburgh. The essay writes from the perspective of a political artist on the supposed benefits of this 'Special Economic Zone', the State-corporate nexus, and their relation to child poverty, environment and the liberal minded easel painter.
