Abstract

Professor Amanda Taylor Beswick, Director of the Centre for Digital Transformation was a guest speaker at the recent Times Higher Education’s Digital Universities UK 2024 that took place 16-18 April at the University of Exeter.

This session explored the role of digital technology in an institution’s ethics policy and in scaling-up its research ambitions, including: examples of implementing digital ethics management systems; best practice in training staff to use tools effectively; how advanced technology can help research managers tackle new risks and challenges in areas such as data-led research.
