Warren Mortimer completed a Creative Writing PhD at Lancaster University. His debut pamphlet, Fruit Knife Autopsy, was published by Green Bottle Press in 2022. His poems have been published in UK magazines, including The Moth, Magma, and Orbis. He won the 2023 Jane Martin Poetry Prize for ‘Forgive me, Augustine’ and ‘When We Moved to Morecambe’. He teaches creative writing at Lancaster University and the University of Cumbria.
