Abstract
This is the updated third edition of the well-established 'Becoming a Teacher Educator: Guidelines for academic induction' published by Advance HE. The guidelines aim to support recently appointed university-based teacher educators but will also be of interest to their managers, to academic developers and to teacher educators based in colleges or schools. The purpose of the publication is to support teacher educators in self-managing their induction and continued professional learning and career development.
