Abstract
Current research and statistics identify significant numbers of victims of domestic violence and abuse that are outside of the male perpetrator-female victim dyad. These include male victims, victims within the LGBTQ+ population and children who grow up in violent and abusive environments. Using our participants own words Dr Julie Taylor and Dr Liz Bates will discuss some of the findings from a series of recent studies and discuss the implications for service providers and policy makers.
