Abstract

This presentation/workshop will present the project design for the Ocean Youth Trust North Social Impact Study and enable discussion around the ramifications for sail training organisations, particularly for data collection. It will enable practitioners to consider their own practice in relation to the ASTO theory of change and show how this might be used to interpret observations of sail training crew. The workshop will also introduce a development opportunity for practitioners to be able to conduct action research aboard their own vessel.
