Abstract
This short paper was presented to the Research & Enterprise Committee, University of Cumbria on 14 December 2018. It provides a summary of my post-doctoral experiences, with an overview of my achievements and an outline of my future plans. In terms of impact, the focus is on three areas of my work: BERA (British Educational Research Association); RGS (Royal Geographical Society) and UoC (University of Cumbria).
