Abstract

Public exhibition lecture with Robert Williams on Dan Flavin and Minimalism. Robert Williams, Professor of Fine Art at the University of Cumbria, gives an illustrated lecture on American Minimalism putting Flavin's work into context and showing the influence of the movement on future geneartions. Refreshments will be served and there will be time for Q&A and an evening tour of the exhibition. (The Artist Rooms: Dan Flavin, Tate Modern, London 2013 exhibition travelled to the Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries, Scotland August - November 2014.)
