Abstract
The Camino de Santiago is one of the most famous pilgrim routes in the world, and this paper explores the aspects that identify elements of internal and external motivation, and a diversity of terms permeating culture, lenses, religion, mysticism, beliefs, and experiences, obtained from people who walked the route. The data was collected through the answers of an open questionnaire, and the results reflect a multicultural palette of how experiences are lived as a reflection of the self.
