Abstract

There is a wealth of literature that demonstrates men’s victimisation in intimate relationships, this paper explores explanations of women’s aggression towards men. This includes exploring traditional models of intimate partner violence, evolutionary perspectives and critiquing the idea women’s violence is only ever in self-defence.
