Abstract
Uncomfortable discussions during her chemotherapy led Kerry Stott to reflect on how she talks to patients. Death is one of the few taboo subjects. As a nation we do not talk much about it or its effect on us. The death of a loved one is painful, but what if that loved one chooses to die by suicide or refusal of treatment?
