Abstract
A blog by University of Cumbria VC Prof Julie Mennell, commenting on the government’s industrial strategy green paper, which was shared by the Million Plus university lobby group and others. The paper, she says, demonstrates “how seriously the Prime Minister and the Secretary of State, Greg Clark MP are in seeking to address long-standing imbalances in regional growth” adding her hopes that the University of Cumbria will be a vital player in enacting the fine detail.
