Abstract

For Radar, Clare Stephenson is developing a work titled ‘Smoking Forever’, a live installation in which the figures are animated by an off-stage performer reciting an absurd campy dialogue. The ritualistic dialogue spoken by the performer will be interspersed by bursts of music and ambient noise – to a disorientating effect.
