Abstract:

The project takes a critical look at the relations between human and nonhuman animals. The humanly defined boundaries between spaces of wildness and domesticity, and the contestation of these boundaries by nonhuman animals, are investigated. The project centres on a case study of feral sheep in the Westfjords of Iceland.
